Avondale Police Boost School Zone Vigilance for Community Safety.

As students return for the 2026-2027 school year, the Avondale Police Department is increasing enforcement in and around school zones to help keep students, parents, and staff safe. During the first several weeks of school, traffic officers will have an increased presence during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times, with patrol officers assisting as calls for service allow.
