Prescott's Roads: A Reminder on School Zone and Bus Safety for Drivers

With local schools going back into session on Thursday, August 6th, the Prescott Police Department would like to take a moment to remind motorists and pedestrians of traffic safety laws regarding school zones and school buses and share a few common violations encountered. Typically, the most common violation observed regarding school zones is speeding. Due to increased pedestrian traffic, Arizona Law requires motorists to travel at a speed of not more than 15 miles per hour while in a posted des
