Prescott Hosting Crucial Public Hearing on Future Rodeo and Fairgrounds Master Plan
The Prescott City Council will hold the first public hearing on the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan on Tuesday, August 25, giving residents an opportunity to learn more about the planning process and provide input on the future of the site. The public hearing will take place during the City Council voting meeting beginning at 3 p.m. at Prescott City Council Chambers, 201 N. Montezuma Street. The hearing will include an update on the master plan, followed by an opportunity for community members to provide public comment. Montezuma Street, Prescott The hearing comes during the City’s 45-day public comment period for the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan, which runs through September 22. Comments made during the public hearing will be included in the public comment period record. Community members can also review the final draft Master Plan and submit comments online at www.prescott-az.gov/prescott-rodeo-grounds-master-plan/ . A second public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, during a City Council voting meeting. Following the conclusion of the public input process, the Prescott City Council is scheduled to consider adoption of the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan on Tuesday, October 13. Residents interested in the future of the Rodeo/Fairgrounds property are encouraged to participate in the public hearing or submit comments during the remaining public comment period.
