Flagstaff Announces Upcoming Fall Fix-It Clinics and Community Drop-Off Day
The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office invites community members to join three events this Fall: Fix-It Clinic August 22, Drop-Off Day October 24 and Fix-It Clinic November 7. Fix-It Clinic Saturday, August 22 and November 7, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Discover the power of repair and community at Flagstaff’s upcoming Fix-It Clinics! Join a team of skilled volunteer “fixers” on Saturday, August 22 and Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. Fix-It Clinics pair community members with volunteers who can help diagnose and repair household items such as small appliances, clothing, electronics, toys, and more. Whether you’re hoping to give an old item new life or simply learn how things work, this hands-on event empowers you to build practical repair skills while reducing waste. Be part of a growing effort to reduce waste in Flagstaff – one repair at a time. Making an appointment online is recommended and walk-ins are welcome. Schedule an appointment by following this link: flagstaff.az.gov/3231/Fix-it-Clinic Drop Off Day Saturday, October 24, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office, Police Department, and Coconino County invite you to participate in our upcoming Drop-Off Day on Saturday, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coconino County Health and Human Services building. This event provides community members with a safe and convenient way to properly dispose of items such as batteries, lightbulbs, expired medications, and more.
