Flagstaff Prepares for the Future with Comprehensive Building Code Revisions Under Consideration

The Flagstaff City Council will consider a first read of the proposed 2024 Suite of Building and Fire Codes updates during the Tuesday, Sept. 15 Council Meeting. The proposed adoption would align the City’s construction regulations with the most current code editions and industry standards, allowing the community to benefit from advancements in building safety, resiliency, energy efficiency, accessibility, and construction technology. The updates focus on three major areas: the Building Code, th
