Yavapai College Soccer Kicks Off Conference Action with an Energetic Home Opener

Yavapai College Men’s Soccer hosted Mohave College on Sat. Sep. 12 at Amphitheater Park in Prescott Valley. The Roughriders tied 3-3 in their first conference match of the season. Yavapai College was up 3-1 in the second half, but gave up two goals. Three goals were scored by Juan Avella, Facundo Bellindier-Parada, and Micky Finamore, with an assist by Dale Baker. Afonso Fernandes had seven saves. Yavapai College Men’s Soccer is now 5-1-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in conference. The Roughriders ar
