Avondale Launches Strategic Pavement Preservation Program to Enhance Local Roads

As part of the City of Avondale’s Fiscal Year 2027 Pavement Preservation Program, the Public Works Department, in partnership with ViaSun, will perform Slurry III maintenance treatments on several roadways throughout the city beginning Oct. 6. Work is scheduled from Oct. 6 through Nov. 8, with crews working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work will include lane restrictions and closures while crews complete the pavement preservation treatments.
