US 160 Reopens to Travelers Following Swift Emergency Road Repairs and Maintenance Work

The Arizona Department of Transportation has reopened US 160 east of Kayenta after making critical repairs to a flood-damaged portion of the highway. Crews worked over the past week, including through the weekend, on drainage improvements, roadway reconstruction, new pavement and asphalt, and new striping for approximately 80 feet of damaged roadway near Dennehotso.
