Chandler Hosts Community Eco-Friendly Household Hazardous Waste Giveaway to Promote Sustainable Living and Reuse

The City of Chandler operates a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility so residents can divert hazardous items, such as pesticides and household cleaning products, from the landfill. Many of the items that are dropped off at this facility are new or only slightly used. On Friday, Nov. 6, the city is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Giveaway Event to promote reuse of these items. This event will be at the Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center, 955 E. Queen Creek Road, from 9-11 a.m. I
