Chandler City Council Navigates New Regulations for Electric Bikes

At the June 11 meeting, the Chandler City Council adopted an ordinance to add regulations regarding the use of electric bicycles. The Ordinance was adopted tentatively at the May 21 City Council meeting and will take effect July 11. Electric bicycles (E-bikes) have become increasingly popular in recent years. To address the increasing popularity of E-bikes and the subsequent increase in related injuries, many valley cities have adopted regulations limiting how, where, and by whom different class
